Bandhan Life Insurance Limited, formerly Aegon Life Insurance Company, is an Indian life insurance provider offering both individual and group insurance solutions through online and offline channels. Established in 2008 and headquartered in Mumbai, India, it was previously a joint venture between Dutch multinational Aegon N.V. and The Times Group. However, in February 2024, Bandhan Financial Holdings Ltd. acquired the firm. Consequently, on April 19, 2024, Aegon Life underwent a rebranding process and officially became known as Bandhan Life Insurance Limited. This transition marks a new chapter in the company's journey within the Indian insurance sector.
